Arturo Improta’s story for this land was, and is, a love story. The fascination for uncontaminated nature and above all for the element of water so present in this area: the purity of a thousand spring waters, of the volcanic lakes, the water of the many waterfalls, streams, torrents and rivers. We are in an oasis a few kilometers north of Rome, here, in the eighties, Tenuta Ronci was born.
Seductive right from the color that tends to golden. On the nose and palate, aromas of exotic fruits, white flowers and especially the scent of acacia blossoms are picked up. Smooth and elegant palate with a pleasant finish of mint and honey. Accompanies fish dishes, tartare, shellfish and crustaceans, but also smoked salmon (on butter croutons!). Excellent with white meats. Amazing persistence!
Immediate, fresh. It offers on the nose, and then on the palate, a subtle, lingering mix of floral and fruity notes with a strong appeal to apple accompanied by menthol notes. A wine of great versatility, a companion to seafood meals, summer meals when lots of vegetables are eaten, to happy hours at any time of day.
It shows a beautiful straw yellow color with greenish highlights. The nose offers intriguing aromatic complexity with notes of pear, acacia flower and hawthorn. The taste is delicate in the opening with a pleasant bitter almond finish typical of the varietal. High freshness ensures pleasant drinking and persistence. Versatility is the key to this wine's pairings: fish dishes, but also spaghetti alla norcina. Codfish, vegetable omelettes, legume soups and soft cheeses, white meats. In short, a great white that can also be drunk as if it were a red.
We are in the Treja River Valley Regional Park where nature and history show a seamless continuity. The lakes of Bracciano, Vico and Monterosi, to our west, sit in the cones of ancient extinct volcanoes. A few kilometres from the Estate is the historic village of Nepi with its imposing “Rocca dei Borgia”, the Catacombs of Santa Savinilla and the impetuous waterfalls of Cavaterra, right in town. and the Picchio Waterfall. Nepi is the source of one of the most famous mineral waters in Italy. This is the pure, natural habitat of Tenuta Ronci vineyards.
