In our vineyards we grow, by oenological choice and for the great passion of the Improta family for these varietals, Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot (and an amazing Grechetto). Our vines, native or international, grow on volcanic soil made of materials deposited over millennia during the eruptive and explosive phases of the Cimini Mountains and the Caldera di Vico and more recent alkaline-potassic materials. The soil , at Tenuta Ronci, is mostly made of disintegrated “peperino” stone, a volcanic rock rich in minerals, capable of conferring, conveyed by the vines, a unique organoleptic imprint to our wines. Vines, indigenous or international, are amazing vectors of what our absolutely indigenious soil expresses.
